i was running a cobra 29 that has been tuned by a local guy with the wilson 5000. the 29 had the mosfets in it and was pushing 36 i believe.but i just got the General HP40w in and i run it witht he wilson 5000

I build all of my own amplifiers. Most are collecting dust right now but for the moment I run one of my 4 pills into my 16 pill. When my Mr Coily comes in, Ill swap out my 16 pill with my 3CX3000A7, which I did not build. I am going to build a different AB biased driver for the 3000 but not sure yet on which pill configuration I want to go with.

OK, I have also a CB-MAster CB-200, but I don't use it at the moment.
I replaced a burned EL519 with more common PL519 beam tube, and haven't made the housing for the extra filament transformer yet.

Hey...

I never use an amp on 11M.

On 10,12,15,17 and 20M I rarely use my Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1.2Kfx with my Icom 756 Pro III, and with my Kenwood TS-570D I use a Elecraft KPA500.

As I stated...I rarely use either amp unless there is one heck of a pileup and I need that contact for my logs.

I just have a base at home right now, and was using a Palomar HD 250-FET until last week when I purchased a Boomer Deluxe 400. I use a MegaWatt S-400-12 power supply with which ever one I have hooked up. I am going to get a bigger power supply soon though, probably an S-700-12.
