Can't get into chat!

What's the deal? when ever I try to get into chat the window opens and it freezes up, then fire fox closes the program.

Never happened to me.

How bout some specifics.

Processor speed.
Operating system
memory
Type of internet connection ( Cable, DSL, Dial up, etc )
do you have any issues going to any web pages

Sometimes its just a configuration of your internet options.

Also, make sure Java is up to date on your computer.
