New just got

I just picked up a YAESU FT-757 GX ok its has AM on it I here great I know it is made for side band it will not talk on am that great. I heard that there is some kind of filter you can be put in it so you can talk on AM like a regular CB Radio. Please let me know if any of you guys have done this and how do I do it. Thanks

It is actually one of the finer Yeasu's from the past and yes AM does need some tweaking if you want to use it a lot but beware, the radio is not designed for all out AM audio, it will cook the finals and repair parts for it is nada. You will find a lot of info about it if you search the internet, plenty of tweaks to be done.
