Direct inject 2970

Hi all, I have an RCI 2970N2. Sweet radio. I would like to direct inject audio and bypass the mic controls on the face of the rig allowing me to use my studio gear. Can anyone tell me where to start? I usually tap the mic connector but that isnt really doing what I want although it still sounds good. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is old but for future reference 2970 and 2950 injection point is C298 through a 2.2uF mylar
