Tapatalk for CBRT

Post by Butch »

I was wondering if the forum owner would be willing to activate Tapatalk on this forum? I myself have an iPhone and would love to be able to use the Tapatalk app to have an easier time accessing the forum. From what I understand it is free to activate for forum owners and it would allow members with iPhones, Androids, Windows Phone 7, and Blackberries to have a really easy interface to the CBRT forum.

If you have the time, please look into it. Here is the website... http://www.tapatalk.com/

You are welcome! I would like to rebrand it, but I can't afford to pay them $999!

Thanks Butch for letting me know about Tapatalk!

I am so spoiled by the .99 apps for the iPhone that I too always question any app that costs more. Yep...Tapatalk Forum app is $2.99. It is by Quoord Systems and in my opinion worth the price. I have been using it daily since Bozo activated it and have had no issues. If you have ever tried using the iPhone version of Safari to browse CBRT it was a nightmare. Tapatalk is waaaaaaay better. Buy it.....you'll like it.

The free one for the blackberry doesn't work, but if I could make up my mind on a newer/better phone I'd buy one and try it out. I've had a touch screen phone in the past and hated it so I'm just hesitant on these touch-only phones and typing as much as I do on my BB.

The free app for my HTC works awesome! Glad I finally put down the crackberry and joined the Android revolution! Forum viewing on tapatalk and the browser is super fast and user friendly, thanks again Bozo!

I was hesitant too linx but I got the new HTC incredible 2 and its amazing! I had the blackberry storm 2 for a few years so I am used to the touchscreen but this phone is awesome! Super user friendly even for my big fingers!

And I haven't turned on the laptop since, there is no need, this phone is just as fast and easy to use as my laptop!

Snowman, I've been rocking a HTC Thunderbolt for about 3 weeks now. I still need to install Tapatalk, but I'm just a cheapo, lol.

The 4G is nasty! I'm getting 29000kbps download and 9000kbps upload. While on 3G it does about 1300kbps down and 600kbps up. So it's about 22x faster.

Nice!!!!! Mine is just 3g but everywhere I go I'm hitting WiFi and it works great! How cool is the mobile hotspot feature, I love that! It is fast enough that my daughter can watch netflix streaming on the laptop in the car! Now THAT is priceless, trust me! Lol

I got off my lazy butt and installed Tapatalk on my Thunderbolt. It's nice! For you forum junkies, it's definitely worth the $3. I thought I was doing ok surfing the forum on my phone but I was wrong, lol

If you bring up the site on your phone's browser, Tapatalk will come up at the top, but since you can use the browser to bring up the site then what is the point of using it.

Less bandwidth, faster loading times, easier to read, and all around works better on smaller mobile devices. Trying to browse the forum on firefox on my phone is a nightmare.

I know a lot of members still use it, just out of curiosity I downloaded it onto my iPad and couldn't find CBRT either, so in turn, sent Tapatalk to the cloud.
