Old Cars For Sale

Post by 'Doc » Friday, 26 November 2010, 13:28 PM

Three older cars for sale;

1 1923 Hupmobile, stock, excellent condition, black, $12,000.00
1 1926 Ford Model 'T', stock, excellent condition, black, $12,000.00
1 19?? Rolls Royce, stock, very good condition, black and silver, $16,000.00

Will throw in a Cobra 19 with any/all of the above, you worry about an antenna.
Prices firm unless you want to pay more. Oh, and one free tank of gas.

{Are they mine? No, they belong to my boss. She's cleaning house for new stuff. Sounds like a joke but it isn't.}

Pictures would be nice to see when we are talking spending that kind of coin. Plus the correct year would also be nice to know as that has a lot to do with their value.

Darrin/Cotton Mouth.

I know a guy that collects cars like this and you get me some pictures and what not I will forward them on to him.

When you say excellent shape are you meaning already restored???

What part of the country are these cars in?? Which State??

Again Pictures I guess would answer some of these questions.

Darrin,
I'll get pictures tomorrow (Sunday) if they are still there (on display). Meant to the day I saw them, but didn't.
They are in McAlester, Oklahoma, and are restored. I won't say what stage of restoration, but the Hupmobile and model 'T' wouldn't embarrass me at all if entered in a show. The Rolls isn't quite that nice, not what I'd think would 'place' in a show.
The owner has a few more cars/trucks that are not being sold, your friend might ask about them. No telling when you might want a 30-40's vintage firetruck?

Got pictures but they are too large. I'll 'fix'em when I get off work this afternoon. Sorry 'bout that.

Doc,

For $12M the Model T needs to be a condition 1. Just auctioned off a '24 condition 3 (value $6500) for $8,000 and was surprised to get that even with the new coils and 1 family ownership.

The best way to sell those vehicles through an auctioneer on proxibid. You'll get 8,000+ buyers to view the auction. I do this quite a bit and I've had bidders from Canada, Iceland & even Saudi Arabia. Buyer pays the shipping, etc. You

If you want some specific questions answered you can contact me through http://www.heartg.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The collector car market has really taken a hit the last 2 years. Most collectors now a days want a Model A instead of a T because of the ease of driving, etc. Hupmobiles have their own following and not everyone is interested in them. Rolls Royce's are always in demand with certain people.

Good luck.

Up date.

The Hupmoile is gone, the 'T' is on the way. Add 2 Jag's, both 1950's, both XKE's. Not sure of the price but around 50K. Don't remember if I said, so add one 50's model, right hand drive Rolls to the list.
Saw the 'boss' today, shook my finger in her face and told her I was unhappy with her! Putting those things up for sale after I bought a new car. She expressed sympathy and said she'd never do it again. I was hoping that 'sympathy' would have included a pat on the back, maybe a hug? Oh well...
