Is there any noises or anything when you pull the lever?........I would try to check the lines from the seat to the tank/compressor.

Back when I first bought my 97 Suburban, I had the same problem within the first year. I took it back to the dealer, and they had to replace the seat (the lower part of the seat where the motors and compressor's at)

Mine was covered by warranty, so pending on how old yours is, maybe it's still under warranty!
