Linx,

The external speaker makes all the difference in the world. I had it running with my GL and now with this radio. Great sounding speaker. Gives a lot of depth to the receive. It actually sits back down on the floor now and that takes even more sharpness out of the normal "white noise" while giving plenty of audio.
The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

General Washington SWP from radioactive and a 2x4 fatboy. "but" Just purchased a new 2 x 6 worldwide for a little more excitement and ordered a new custom TR-2000 dosy meter to keep an eye on things. Antenna was a 10K but it was getting abused from branches and low hanging wires on my chevy van so now will be getting a wilson 5K.

Some o' you fellers make me feel plumb discouraged about my barefoot DX88hl and 3' top-loaded fiberglass firestick antenna. I get especially discouraged when I shout out for DX contacts an' folks from all over the place talk back to the NW Arkansas 183 Country Preacher mobile.

Wish I had something to reach out an' touch someone. :icon_e_wink:
