Just finished getting everything setup in my new road warrior car (ugly 1997 Eagle Vision but cheap and low mileage). A Marko CB-444 that needs a good peak and tune, after that I'll probably install a small linear. A mag mount wilson 1k on the trunk. Also just finished mounting and wiring up the PA speaker, just a 50watt RadioShack speaker but it gets the desired effect.

Everything else in the picture is non-CB stuff. Aftermarket Pioneer, with iPod dock in glove box, and a 500watt amp running 6 speakers. That's a 100watt inverter hardwired in to the ash tray, it'll drain my battery if I leave it on overnight so I also installed a relay so it shuts off with the car. I ran a separate circuit for the CB and the inverter, the CB circuit can handle up to 30 amps the inverter circuit can do 10 amps (basically 2 amps above the peak draw of the inverter). Maybe a little overkill but I always like to have room to expand and as my pops always says "Do it right the first time!" Oh, and if you're wondering yes I installed a bigger alternator (250 amp). The stock 90 amp alternator would die with this load on it.

WRX a 949 into a rm300 . Little car and no space. talks way better than I thought. 108 mfj. remote control toy car look a like.

crown vic 3900 hp to a sweet 16. 250 alt and 2 batteries. The scanner antenna and 108 gets a lotta plain brown wrapper calls.

Burb dustin 29 , 2x4 into a home brew 24 , 2 leece bigboys and 2 batteries Antenna varies by goal.

Wife's Excursion grant into a 2 pill. Had to put it in the console with a quick disconnect antenna.

Yep, simple but effective, 2 into 16. It all unbolts and unplugs in minutes and comes out. The 16 is on rubber shock mounts. The tray is a simple piece of channel steel painted black, from an open box lawnmower attachement I bought at home depot for $25 and everything is bolted to it, making for a removable mobile amp module, so to speak.

I run an old 1979 Montgomery Wards 680 40 channel AM mobile along with a Wilson Little Wil in the Trailblazer. Picked the radio up for 10 bucks already mounted to an external speaker hump mount. Can't believe how well that setup works. Constantly get excellent reports. Have read several posts saying the old Wards radios are loud and I'm a definite believer. If you find any selling cheap... grab them!

I run a Midland 75-822 with a Wilson Little Wil mag mount on the trunk. Clean, simple, compact, and easily hidden in the glove box. It also has a range of about 12 miles on good conditions.

In one pick up I run an Icom IC-7000 and Scorpion screwdriver and Metron MA-1000B (8ea MRF-454's) for HF, and on the fender a Hustler 2m 5/8 wave. I sometimes switch to my 102" or 5' Tiger on the fender and a switch box for 10/11m operation. In the other work truck I run a modified Philly 148 w/TS DX400 and a 5' Tiger. In the Jeep I run a SBE LCMS 4 Sidbander with D104 & mostly my Tiger TSM-4' for wheelin' or the 102" (need to get a small amp in there some day). In the wife's Jeep XJ I run a Uniden Pro510xl and TSM-4' Tiger. That's it.

In my 04 Ford Ranger I currently run a Connex 3300 with stock Galaxy mic and a Gray 100 modulator through a Wilson 5000 mag mount on the roof.

Galaxy 949 with a Skipper(no idea what is in it honestly,I didn't even open it up,unusual for me to say the least),usually on low, with a Laird Tech base loaded antenna mounted via nmo. Just needed a little extra oomph on SSB to talk to a friend, and she does it quite nicely.
