Re: Amp going backwards
Did it start all of a sudden or did you just get? How much drive are you hitting it with?
Re: Amp going backwards
Yea, that's not a whole lot of information for us to help determine what's up.
What are you judging the modulation swing on?
Do you have a watt meter in line that's showing things?
If so what is your dead key into the amp?
What radio are you driving the amp with?

Re: Amp going backwards
Watching an inline watt meter, without modulation it is reading 125, with modulation its backing up to about 60. Dead key is 4 watts. Galaxy 2517. This is using the low power setting on the box.

Re: Amp going backwards
Seems like a lot of deadkey for that little amp. I'm thinking it only needs 1.5-2w dead key.

Re: Amp going backwards
Remember, that's a 250. It's not going to do a lot. Sounds like your using a average meter as well, not a pep meter.
