I build all of my own amplifiers. Most are collecting dust right now but for the moment I run one of my 4 pills into my 16 pill. When my Mr Coily comes in, Ill swap out my 16 pill with my 3CX3000A7, which I did not build. I am going to build a different AB biased driver for the 3000 but not sure yet on which pill configuration I want to go with.

Since this topic was started in 05 there have been some good builders come and go, I ran an 1X8 made by a local builder for years but now all I have is a nice little RM 351/P.

OH... this was an amp thread...

OK, I have also a CB-MAster CB-200, but I don't use it at the moment.
I replaced a burned EL519 with more common PL519 beam tube, and haven't made the housing for the extra filament transformer yet.

-- Wednesday, 16 November 2016, 0:14 AM --

Now the tube glows again

´So, I run CB-MAster CB-200 !

Maverick 250 for my base station. In my mobile I run one of my Wawassee JB75A's. Wonder if the JB75A's could be hooked together somehow to increase wattage?

Hey...

I never use an amp on 11M.

On 10,12,15,17 and 20M I rarely use my Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1.2Kfx with my Icom 756 Pro III, and with my Kenwood TS-570D I use a Elecraft KPA500.

As I stated...I rarely use either amp unless there is one heck of a pileup and I need that contact for my logs.

Trust me, I need more intelligent conversation!
