I love the weather. I live just off the right side of that pic from Emporia. Might get noisy later !

Georgia has been hit by a good number of tornados in recent years. US FS posted arial pictures of tornado damage a few years ago - it continued across Lake Burton. Never saw anything like that. You can clearly see the path on one side of the lake then continue on another.

I have had around 10-12 tornados hit within 5 miles of my house. Yikes!

One of my parents barns were damaged by a tornado when I was a child.

News stations here broadcast updates based on amateur radio spotters.

My sister and BIL live in Powder Springs, 2 years ago a twister went through there development, right behind her house, took out a couple trees, sucked all the water out of the swimming pool and filled it with debris, never touched the house, not even a shingle. Weather, go figure.

amazing how that works. I've seen pictures where tornado's hop over trees, houses, etc.
