Control Panel

Post by JetSetter »

Hello my fellow maniacs. Not sure, this may be a really boring questions. But, I built this control box, my first one.

But now, i also want to run my on/off switch for my Megawatt supply. But my box is short on room. The top 2 are P5 & P6, they are my channel expansion. http://www.cbtricks.com/radio ... er_mod.htm

the bottom right is my on/off swr lights. So has anybody used a box like this. Or any other box suggestions. Thinking should get away from plastic. But you people are the experts.

Since nothing inside the box has an RF signal plastic will be fine. When you build something like a sampler or a meter enclosure then I prefer a metal box. If you are worried about any interference you can add ferrite beads to the wires.
