Re: Cobra 29 Ltd
Look at your solder joints at the PLL and make sure you didn't cross any, only other thing it could be is a bad IC in the channel kit. Which kit did you use?

Re: Cobra 29 Ltd
I'm guessing here, it's a old Expo "A+" kit?

Re: Cobra 29 Ltd
did you follow the instructions as written? you need the varactor diode installed if you can not adjust for the channels.if this is a old 29ltd in most cases you have to use the cap and the diode and make the adjustments as listed to get it to dial in.

Re: Cobra 29 Ltd
did you install the diode and cap that came in the A+ kit. I have noticed if the radio does not peak properly as you have lost some channels the diode and cap needs to be installed. you did not say if you used them or not in your reply.
did you get the diode and cap with your kit, did you get get the install paper work with your kit. I have noticed some of the kits mention the cap and diode and they were never put in the box to add them. the diode for the kit is a BB329 part number.
